for Qualified RV Owners

  • A high energy level and tremendous spirit.
  • We are different than other RV groups:
    • We're visibly younger.
    • It's ok to arrive with a friend of the opposite sex.
    • You don't have to belong to any RV park system. We exist independently of other organizations.
  • We own all kinds of RV's: vans, trailers, motor homes, and buses, small to large, inexpensive or not. We are attracted to who you are, not what you drive.
  • We share information bimonthly in The WINdow. Our newsletter contains a detailed listing of new members, a schedule of coming events, news notes from members, tips for the RV'er, and news of our network's affairs. Many of our members now have email, and use it often to keep in touch.
  • We provide an annual directory of members, with detailed information about each member. We have members in most states of the US, provinces of Canada, Mexico and Europe.
  • To qualify to join you must be:
    • Traveling alone in your RV.  However, once you're in, you may travel with whomever you choose.
    • Responsible, respectful, and respectable.
    • Not yet 70!  However, once you're in, you may stay as long as you like.  We're physically active.
    • Owner of a vehicle in which you can eat, sleep, cook, and go to the toilet, even if all facilities are portable. You must be able to be personally clean in your rig and survive for four days without outside toilet, shower, or water.
    • Able to handle being in a group where some are paired.
    • Ready to make friends and have fun!
  • We don't kick members out when they marry or if they travel together.  We have many active couples participating in our gatherings.
  • WIN is not a club, so we don't have the hassle of business meetings or politicking.  You don’t have to join another organization to belong to our network.
  • We do:
    • Require proof of age. Send us a black and white copy of your birth certificate or driver's license with your application.. We will shred it.
    • Send all mail First Class (or Via Airmail to members outside the U.S.A.).
    • Have regular sessions to plan new activities. All of our activities are planned and hosted or sponsored by our network members. We encourage you to be active and participate from your first gathering on.

  • If you qualify, you are invited to join our network for RV camping and caravanning. You may visit twice before joining.
  • We emphasize active gatherings. Past activities have included trips to Mexico, sailing, tubing, power boating, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, hiking, 4WD, house boating, ultra light flying, and spelunking. Give us your ideas!
  • WIN gatherings include weekends whenever possible so our working members can attend.
  • WINers can host gatherings or lead caravans anywhere and anytime they wish. Typical gathering places are: near their homes or at points of interest, places of natural beauty, or special events.
  • We also have informal "Circuits" (long caravans), with "Stopovers" of varying lengths of time along the way. Circuits have provided an excellent opportunity for our full time members to enjoy one another's company at a reasonable cost.
  • WINers often help members help themselves with repairs, maintenance, travel tips, parking, etc.
  • WINing works! We're having a grand time!
  • "When we gather it is to share happy times and sad; to share know-how; to help one another; to allow others the space to be themselves, without criticism; to enjoy activities or to bow out for whatever reason."  Dorothy Prince, Founder of WIN
