This location is not free but is very scenic and pleasant. A good place to enjoy the calm and peaceful serenity of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Owens Valley. Lake Diaz is located just south of Lone Pine, CA. About 1 mile south of the junction of US 395 and CA 136. Camping is on the west side of the lake with some shaded spots.
